Living near Chattanooga, Tennessee, I am inspired by the beautiful scenery, friendly people, and laid-back vibe of a city surrounded by mountains. My art is filled with references to books (some of my favorite childhood memories come from hours spent in my mum’s bookstore), local culture, and any bit o’ playfulness I can find! One of my greatest compliments is when someone picks up one of my pieces of art and smiles or laughs out loud because they get my sense of humor. When I’m not painting, I love attending Ren fairs and local festivals!

Inspiration!
Sometimes life inspires my art, and sometimes my art inspires my life!
In this series, first the photo of me by the dragon was taken at The Hunter Art Museum, then I created a painting from the photo, and finally I created a costume for our local Ren fair based on my painting.
